Privacy notice

What we collect

When you request an online estimate or submit an enquiry, we collect the contact and move details you provide, including your name, phone number, email, moving locations, preferred dates, inventory, access and notes. When you calculate, we also receive the estimate result. If you add photos in your enquiry account, we store the images and captions privately with that enquiry. We also record which page the enquiry came from so our team has context. You can start with suburbs rather than full street addresses. If you do not provide enough contact or move details, we may be unable to respond or prepare a useful quote.

How we use it

We use your information to contact you, assess your requested services, prepare and discuss a quote, manage any booking and keep business records. Submitting a form does not confirm a booking or price. We do not treat an enquiry as consent to receive unrelated marketing messages.

Where it goes

Submitted enquiries are stored in the website's enquiry database. Enquiries and online calculation details are sent to AA's email account through an email delivery provider. A confirmation email and a requested sign-in link may be sent to you. Your uploaded photos are held in private website storage and shown only to you and authorised AA staff. Staff notes are not shown in the customer enquiry view. Staff may use AA Smart Notes to organise moving requirements. Only the text submitted for that step is sent to OpenAI for AI processing, and staff review the suggestions before applying them. This does not automatically confirm a booking or send a customer message. Google reCAPTCHA checks for spam. Address autocomplete and a requested approximate price may use Google’s address services. If you choose to calculate a truck route, the two locations are sent to TollGuru; the route tool explains this before you use it. Website hosting and these service providers may process information outside Australia, including the United States. We do not publish your enquiry.

Drafts and browser storage

While you fill out the detailed quote form, your browser saves a copy of your entries on this device, including contact details, addresses, inventory and notes. This uses local browser storage, not a cookie. AA receives your entered contact and move details when you request an online estimate or submit the form. Address suggestions and route calculations also share relevant locations with the providers described above. The draft is kept for up to 7 days in that browser and is cleared after a successful submission. You can select Discard draft on the form or clear this site’s data in your browser. Anyone using the same browser profile on a shared device may be able to see a saved draft. Google reCAPTCHA, used to protect forms from spam, may set a security cookie when it runs; see Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms linked beside the form. We do not currently use advertising or analytics tracking cookies on this site.

Keeping and accessing information

We limit access to people and providers who need the information for these purposes and retain it for business and record-keeping needs. You can view and correct your enquiry through Your move with AA. To request deletion of information we no longer need to retain, email sales@aafurnitureremovals.com.au. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
