Check the address, not just the postcode
Homes and apartments across the inner south-east can require different truck loading arrangements. Check the signs at each address and any building lift or loading booking.
List outdoor and garage belongings for houses; include basement storage and balcony items for apartments.
Check the City of Stonnington council profile and confirm current parking and building conditions for your exact address. Share the legal loading position and carrying distance before accepting the written quote.
Explore City of Stonnington suburb guides
Use the suburb guides for a starting checklist; the access and loading rules still depend on your exact property.
What to send for a written quote
Send both addresses, preferred date, furniture and carton list, and photos of unusual items or difficult access. Include any packing, assembly, extra stop or storage need so it can be assessed with the move.
Some suburbs span council boundaries. Use the property's street address when checking local rules.
